Cut Coin State Quarter
Cut Coin State Quarter Oregon 2005 Crater Lake Wizard Island US Necklace Jewelry
The Oregon state quarter is a circulating commemorative coin issued by
the United States Mint in 2005 as part of the 50 State Quarters Program.
The design features Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States,
with Wizard Island in the foreground and a conifer tree in the
background. The inscriptions "Crater Lake," "Oregon," and "1859," the
year Oregon became a state, are also included.
The reverse of the coin
features the familiar image of George Washington, the first President of
the United States, along with the inscriptions "United States of
America," "Quarter Dollar," and "E Pluribus Unum."
The 50 State Quarters
Program was a ten-year initiative by the U.S. Mint to issue a quarter
representing each of the 50 states in the order in which they ratified
the Constitution or were admitted to the Union.
